How to Review your Web Hosting Account Resources Usage?

1- In order to review your resources, you may first simply login to your cPanel account as indicated in your welcome email. Or from your HS Manager service's sidebar click on Login to cPanel.

2-  Once logged in you may check the sidebar of your cPanel which would give you an instant snapshot of your website(s) resources.

3- Finally, in order to find more details about your past resources usage you may click on the "Resource Usage" icon.

4- You'll be prompted to a dashboard recapitulating the main events associated with your resources usage. It could be used to determine whether the web hosting plan is suited for your website. If you click on Snapshot, it allows you to see the running processes of your website and see whether you have a persisting process taking all your resources which could be optimised. 

 

5- If you click on Current Usage, you'll be from the date picker to view precisely all the resources being used. (The top red bar being your account plan limit).

  • The CPU usage reflects the amount of processing power being used by all your cPanel account
  • The Physical Memory Usage reflects the amount of RAM being used for your cPanel account by the server
  • The Input/Output Usage reflects the Disk bandwidth Speed being used by your web hosting account.
  • IO operations reflects the numbers of simultaneous conduced by your websites
  • The Entry Processes reflects the processes being generated by your websites only.
  • The Processes reflects all the processes used by your cPanel account (including Mail / FTP / MySQL) 
  • Faults reflects the amount of times your web hosting account reached its limit. 

Each resources are dependant from your web hosting plan and you can upgrade from your HS Manager which would be processed instantly. 

 

That's it! From this interface you'll be able to troubleshoot your website(s) performances and assess accurately the resources consumption for your shared hosting plan.
