Description : How to Use the File Manager in cPanel
Note : The File Manager allows you to manage your files within your shared web hosting account. You can upload, download, edit, chmod your files through a browser based interface.
1) Login to your web hosting account (mydomain.com/cpanel)
2) Click on the File Manager icon within your control panel.
3) You can now select "Show Hidden Files (dotfiles)" along with the mounting point which would display the configuration files such as the .htaccess Then click go.
4) You are now connected to the file manager. We can start by uploading a file. You click on Upload on the top bar and you will be able to select the files you want to upload on your computers;
5) Within your file manager, you can drag and drop your files to any folder you please.
That's it. From the file manage you will be able to manage your files in full without using the FTP access
